LATENCY INTELLIGENCE
PUBLIC EXCERPT / SEPTEMBER 2026 / PAGES 07–08
Read the measurement method before you decide.
These two pages are reproduced from the current 26-page brief. They show a measured request profile, an interpretation boundary and what the record cannot establish.
The sample demonstrates the method, not a guaranteed outcome. It does not measure your deployment.
← Return to the brief overviewWHAT THE EXCERPT SHOWS
A real observation with its boundary.

AWS Oregon → Jito SLC
| Measurement | Recorded duration |
|---|---|
| Warm p50 HTTPS request duration | 34.617 ms |
| First HTTPS request duration, cold profile | 110.480 ms |
Method: read-only HTTPS getTipAccounts; the warm series used a persistent connection.
- Interpretation
- These are HTTPS request durations under different connection conditions. They are not transaction-landing times, and they do not predict the result of another host or deployment.
- Limitation
- The historical record does not include raw per-request samples, precise capture times or the percentile algorithm needed to independently recompute the reported distribution. It also does not separate the cold request into measured DNS, TCP and TLS durations.
- Decision implication · Engineering inference
- Before moving infrastructure, separate route behavior, connection state and execution outcome instead of treating one latency number as the whole system.
